I often talk about fruit and how good it is for you. I know for my wife to some extent because it annoys plays with her conscience when she folds into a chocolate bar with a rant about not losing! This is when I break out the banana recipe. It is a malicious manipulation, because both the fruit and cake in it, so it’s the best of both worlds (Hannah Montana can tell you on TV right now?).

To be honest, I love it.
I worked on my banana cake for a while now. I absolutely love to find a variety of recipes based on one thing so they try to add or remove ingredients until I get what I want. After several months of trial and error, and I think a lot of mistakes, I finally have what I want. I’ve managed to get a banana cake that tastes great and does not take long to get together. Bananas are a good choice when it comes to healthy choices. They have high levels of potassium and is often recommended by physicians that patients with low levels of potassium in their system.

Other advantages are:
• A large banana has only about 140 calories
• A banana on this scale has two grams of protein and four grams of fiber
• Perfect for some energy as a large banana contains about 36 grams of carbohydrates
• Lots of vitamins – A and B significantly
• You also get niacin, folic acid and calcium
There are other nutrients, but you are not a banana lesson!
One of the main problems I have is what to put on top of my banana cake and to be honest it depends on the mood I’m in. My favorite two chopped almonds or a scraping of butter.
